Monday, May 19th - 5 days into her Mission

I received a phone call from the MTC today.  Really freaked me out…  I'm thinking, "what is wrong with my daughter".  Anyway, it was the nurse there.  She said, "Is this Sister Lesser's mother?"  I replied that it was.  She went on to say that Tori went into her office today with a bad ingrown toenail and that after examination, she found that it was severe enough to send her out to a podiatrist and just wanted me to be aware of it.  She asked if I had any questions.  So I asked if Tori could walk or if she was in a lot of pain.  I then hear the nurse say, "Sister Lesser, are you in a lot of pain".  I didn't hear Tori, but the nurse then told me that she walked into her office and that she was using essential oils for the pain.  WOW - she was right there in that room, next to someone I was talking to.  I don't know what the outcome of the doctors visit is yet, but I will let everyone know when I hear.  Note to self… don't wear brand new shoes without breaking them in first, and don't get a pedicure 2 days before entering the MTC or you just might end up with a "severe ingrown toenail".
